How to care for your Lé Silk

We recommend dry cleaning Mulberry silk fabric to maintain the shiny finish and quality of your Lé Silk.

For alternative ways how to care for your Lé Silk, please refer to the following guidelines:

MACHINE WASH INSTRUCTIONS

Use a protective mesh bag - turn your silk items inside out and place in a mesh bag to avoid the shearing and tearing of silk fibers

Use a specialised silk washing detergent, and avoid using alkaline based detergent, disinfectants, soaps, washing powder, etc.

Do not use fabric softener and bleach

Machine wash on the delicate or silk setting below 30°C

Minimize spin time - spinning can damage silk fibers

Hang to dry on a laundry stand away from direct heat and avoid direct sunlight exposure

Never put any of your Lé Silk in the tumble dryer

Always hand wash your Lé Silk in a cool water in order to preserve the life and colour saturation of the clothing

HAND WASH INSTRUCTIONS

Turn your silk product inside out

Gently hand wash the product using cold water or water below 30℃, and keep it separate from other clothing

Use a specialised silk washing detergent, and avoid using alkaline based detergent, disinfectants, soaps, washing powder, etc.

Do not use fabric softener

Do not soak the product for a long time (up to 5 minutes)

Rinse the silk item in a lukewarm water

Gently use a clean white towel to soak up water after the wash. Avoid twisting and wringing excessively

Hang to dry on a laundry stand away from direct heat and avoid direct sunlight exposure

Always steam your Lé Silk to preserve the shine, quality and colour saturation of the clothing

IRONING GUIDE

Make sure the surface of your iron is clean

Iron on the reverse side of your garment

Iron on a delicate or silk setting, or the lowest heat setting if there is no specific setting for silk (below 120℃)

If you need to iron directly on the silk, use a cotton cloth of white or natural color over the area to protect the silk fabric

Do not leave the iron in one place for too long

Add important information here
